Jan. 18, 2017 – West Bend, WI – The UW-WC Wildcats picked up their fourth conference win with a victory Wednesday over UW-Rock. ‘
Both teams were tied 33-33 at half, and UW-Rock took a five-point lead into the fourth quarter.
Then the Wildcats exploded for 30 points in the fourth quarter and held the Rattlers to 13 points.
Washington County used a 58-42 rebounding advantage and 20 team assists to propel the winning effort.
Megan Breuer led the way in points with 34. Kim Zimmel finished 2 assists shy of a triple double with 12 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists.
Marissa Kaul added eight points and grabbed a season high 16 rebounds. The Wildcats continue conference play Saturday at home against UW-Marinette.
