Dec. 15, 2016 – Accommodations have been made in connection with tonight’s candlelight vigil at Riverside Park, 700 Kilbourn Avenue, in West Bend.
Organizer Ron Naab said it will be indoors at the shelter at the park. The event is designed to support those who have suffered the loss of a loved one and to remember those that have died from an addiction. The vigil begins at 6:30 p.m.
On Sunday, Dec. 18 a similar candlelight vigil will be held at the Richfield Fire Station No. 1 on Highway 175, starting at 5 p.m. “We truly hope that those mourning the loss of a loved one and those that want to offer support will attend one if not both vigils,” said Ron Naab, volunteer with Washington Co. Heroin Task Force.
