Dec. 11, 2016 – Washington Co., WI – Some typical Wisconsin winter road conditions greeted motorists Sunday morning in Washington County. Snow covered and slippery will be the mantra today as much of Washington, Dodge and neighboring Fond du Lac Counties are under a winter weather advisory.
According to the Washington County Sheriff plows and salters have been out overnight. Main roads have been plowed and side roads and alleyways are a work in progress.
Motorists are advised to leave a little extra travel time today and watch your speeds, especially on bridges and overpasses.
The National Weather Service said neighbors in Slinger, Kewaskum, Farmington and West Bend can expect anywhere between 7 – 10 inches of snow before it’s over.
Feel free to chime in with your snowfall total and if you have a closing or delay to report – those will be updated at http://www.washingtoncountyinsider.com throughout the day.
