Winter weather advisory for Washington County, WI from 9 a.m. Thursday – noon Friday

Washington Co., Wi – The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Washington County and neighboring communities of Ozaukee and Waukesha Counties as up to 6-inches of snow is expected between Thursday and Friday.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM THURSDAY TO NOON CST
FRIDAY…

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 6 inches, with the highest amounts north of I-94 and towards Lake Michigan.

* WHERE…Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington, and Waukesha Counties.

* WHEN…From 9 AM Thursday to noon CST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Highest rates are expected Thursday afternoon into Thursday evening. Lake effect snow showers Friday morning provide an additional chance for higher rates.
