“Lenny’s understanding of public education and his leadership practices and skills are exceptional,” said Dr. Jen Wimmer, Superintendent of the West Bend School District. “The district is fortunate to have him leading such integral functions. His leadership will ensure that we continue to meet the high standards our students and families deserve.”

Hanson said, “I am honored to continue serving the West Bend School District in this expanded capacity.”

This leadership transition will follow the departure of Andrew Sarnow in January 2025. No word why Sarnow is stepping out.

The district did not include much of a writeup about Sarnow, 49, although his LinkedIn profile indicated he had been with WBSD almost six years.
