December 11, 2024 – Hartford, Wi – Plows and salters hit the roads in Washington County, Wi, early Wednesday afternoon as motorists experienced slick driving conditions. A snowy system was hit-and-miss to start at midday and then around 2 p.m. winds picked up and so did the snow.
The dusting of snow was sticking to the grass and sidewalk. Motorists are reminded to turn on their lights.
The National Weather Service has issued a cold weather advisory from 10 p.m. Wednesday evening until 10 a.m. Thursday. Windchills are expected to be 10 degrees below zero.
