VIDEO | West Bend West volleyball wins WIAA Regional Championship

West Bend, WI – The West Bend West volleyball team captured the WIAA Regional championship defeating Manitowoc Lincoln in four sets, 20-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25 – 15.

The success of the team was its outstanding defense, led by Avah Banks with 8 blocks, and 8 kills plus 38 digs by Emy Miller.
On the offensive side Kylee Altendorf led the team with 17 kills and 12 digs, Emmalee Heniadis with 7 kills and 8 digs, Layla Hertel also had 7 kills.
The team played the most composed game of volleyball this season.

Working hard for each point.  Their goal was great defense and being able to string points together.

The Spartans advance to the Sectional semifinals on Thursday at Manitowoc Lincoln against Menomonee Falls with a 5 p.m. start time.
