October 23, 2024 – Whitefish Bay, WI- The West Bend West JV1 won two sets against the Whitefish Bay Dukes.
The girls had a great start winning the first set 25-14. Shae Hagel crushed every ball that came her way. Macey and Ella Henschel both helped the team by going on long serving runs. The second set was even better, with the Spartans winning 25-7. Libby Wiskirchen had phenomenal sets and 4 ace serves.
After winning the first two sets the Spartans lost the third set, in a very close game 25 – 21.
Ella Miller had 6 kills and 14 digs, Ella Henschel had 15 assists and Lena Popp with 4 blocks.
This was the JV1ās last conference match ending the season with an overall record of 8-1 in the North Shore Conference.

Lena Popp is a freshman at West Bend West High School. She plays outside/middle and is looking to continue her volleyball career through the West Bend West program and hopes to expand her skill set. She has been playing volleyball for seven years.
Ella Miller is a freshman at West Bend West high school. She is an all-around outside, and she has played volleyball for 8 years. She has played for I AM Volleyball the past 5 years on the red team.
