Slinger, Wi – The Slinger High School football team has been selected as a nominee for the WisSports.net Statewide Team of the Week in Wisconsin.

Slinger is one of five teams in the mix along with Ashwaubenon, Mayville, Potosi/Cassville, and Richland Center.
A couple reasons why Slinger is worthy of Team of the Week:
– The mighty Owls did clinch the North Shore Conference championship on Friday with a 45-7 victory over Cedarburg.
– Slinger finished the regular season with an undefeated 9 – 0 record in the North Shore Conference.
