WBW JV2 drops Cedarburg in 3 | By Elisianna Rodriguez

October 3, 2024 – West Bend WI – The West Bend West JV 2 volleyball team had a clean sweep against Cedarburg.
At the start, the Spartans had an amazing lead and got scrappy at times to score a 25-16 win.
In the second set West Bend West stomped Cedarburg and secured the win 25-8.
Finally in the third set the team switched up the positions as setter Alexis Bautz, became a right-side hitter. Elly Pauers, an outside hitter, played setter and Nora Johnson was another setter.
The Spartans came together as a team to win 25-18.
Elly Pauers is a freshman at West Bend West. She knows how important it is to talk on the court and work together to get locked in on the game.
“We had a very good lead in the beginning of the game. Sometimes we started to lose focus and stopped communicating for a second, but as we kept playing the team really started to improve on talking and we started to weaken the other team by being loud and aggressive”.
Elisianna Rodriguez is a freshman middle at West Bend West and knows how important it is to stay positive on the court. “I believe the reason we get the wins is because of our positive energy on the court,” she said.
The Spartans JV2 take the court again Tuesday, October 8 against WB East at 5:15 p.m.
