September 12, 2024 – Kewaskum, WI – On September 11, 2024 at approximately 3:20 p.m. the Kewaskum Police Department responded to the Kewaskum High School for the report of a 14-year-old juvenile who made threats to other students who were attending football practice.
The juvenile was quickly apprehended by the School Resource Officer. No actual weapon was involved. Several students were interviewed.
The juvenile does not attend Kewaskum High School and was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Juvenile Secure Detention.
A referral for terroristic threats has been submitted to the Washington County District Attorney’s office for review.
This appears to be an isolated incident and there is no immediate threat to the community. This is an ongoing investigation. No further information will be released.
