September 6, 2024 – West Bend, WI – The West Bend West varsity volleyball swept the Nicolet Knights in three sets.
The Spartans came out strong against the Knights in the first set with a score of 25 – 10. Kylee Altendorf and Emmalee Heniadis came in clutch with strong serving runs. The second set was just as impressive, finishing with a win of 25 – 11.
The Knights tried to battle back but their dreams were crushed when the Spartans came out victorious in the third set with a score of 25 -15. The Spartans could count on their Libero, Emy Miller, to pick up whatever the other team tried to throw at them.
Kylee Altendorf and Emmalee Heniadis each had 11 kills followed by Laila Hertel with 6 kills.Heniadis added 10 digs with Emy Miller at 9. Altendorf lead the team with 7 ace serves and Breleigh Ustruck had 3.
West is now 1-0 in the North Shore Conference. The Spartans next game is Thursday, September 12 at Homestead with a 7 p.m. start time.
