What are Ozaukee Christian School teachers saying about their students? | By : Janet Swartz

Town of Trenton, WI – It is no surprise teachers keep busy schedules.  But there is one thing on an Ozaukee Christian School teacher’s schedule you will not see on an ordinary teacher’s schedule: prayer.

Ozaukee Christian School teachers make time to pray for the school, their students and each other daily.  They do so as a team, in small groups, with their students and on their own.  By putting this crucial part of the Christian walk into practice, OCS teachers can confidently exemplify their willingness to “pray continually” as mentioned in 1 Thessalonians 5:17.

At the end of the 2023-2024 school year, we asked our teachers to write down their prayers for their students.  We present some of those prayers now, in the hopes you may join us in lifting up these precious little ones in prayer.

“I pray that your hope and love fill every part of them to overflowing.  Let love, light, and life be hallmarks of their lives.”

“Dear Father, I thank you for these little ones that you will keep them unspotted from the world.  Give them boldness to go into the world and share the good news of your son.”

“May they be known by their love for one another.  Keep their hearts soft and tender toward you. Let them hear your voice and choose to follow you always.”

“I pray they will find ways to connect with you to strengthen their relationship with you.  May they love you so much that others notice.”

“Father, I ask for them to seek your kingdom and your righteousness and be kept from the evil one.”

“Father, may your love bring them into all they are created to be.”

“I pray that my students are deeply rooted in Jesus, that they would know the love of Jesus and share him with others.”

Will you join us in saying a prayer for God’s children today?
