Allenton, WI – The 77th annual Allenton Parade stepped off earlier this week as part of the annual Allenton Legion Picnic. While Allenton is known for 30 trains passing through town on a daily basis, only one train from the Canadian National Railroad put a brief pause on the festivities. Picnic chair, Ron Naab said this year’s parade featured 22 entries including horses, four bands, the famous Dancing Grannies, and lots of local youth sports teams.
