Allenton, WI – On Saturday, July 27, 2024, a very unique experience will be happening in Fond du Lac, Columbia and Dodge Counties. According to American Tribute Ride [ATR] Chair Ron Naab, a convoy of approximately 200+ motorcycles and other vehicles will leave at 11 a.m. from the Oakfield Fire Station.
There will be a short opening ceremony at the Oakfield Fire Station on W. White Street in Oakfield starting at 10:30 a.m. The purpose of the ceremony is to dedicate the event to a hero that made the Ultimate Sacrifice: Firefighter Jeremiah Dunn of the Milwaukee Fire Department, along with remembering our military, law enforcement, firefighters and EMS personnel in the past.

Naab said, “Our fund-raising ride which will include 2, 3, or 4-wheel vehicles traveling from Oakfield to the Brandon Fire Station for lunch, on to Cambria Fire Station, next stop is the Fall River Fire Station and ending at the Juneau Fire Station at 4:45 p.m. We encourage SUV and cars to join us.
“This ride is escorted, and speeds are controlled to provide the safest environment for all participating.”
“The general public along the routes are encouraged the public to greet us as we travel through area, especially in the villages we will pass through. It is very humbling to see people support us as we honor those that have unselfishly given their lives serving others,” said Committee member Dennis Grover.
At the stops along the way there will be a live auction of some very unique donated items.
Some items include computer bags and back packs made from clean used firefighting clothing, patriotic diamond art pieces and more.
The day will conclude with a Memorial Service to honor and remember those that have made the Supreme Sacrifice serving our communities and county. Veterans’ groups and firefighters/EMS personnel will be a part of the service. The family and fire department have been invited to attend this program remembering their loved one.
The memorial service will be followed by a pay-in-advance meal. The public is invited to attend any of our stops, especially the Memorial Service at Juneau. Any veteran is allowed to be in attendance of the Memorial Service and have an evening meal with committee at no charge.
Money raised from this very unique event supports a number of entities—Wisconsin Summer Camp for Burn Injured Youth, Badger Honor Flights, Fischer House-Wisconsin, Wisconsin State Fire and EMS Memorial, Concerns of Police Survivors-Wisconsin and suicide prevention programs for our first responders and veterans.
On-site registration at Oakfield Fire Station will start at 9 a.m. for motorcycles and 4-cars and trucks.
