Nov. 15, 2016 – UPDATE: Highway 33 is closed as fire crews from multiple departments work on a house fire in the Town of Saukville. The fire is across the road from Arnold’s Environmental. An employee at the business said nobody can even get to their shop because the road is closed. (currently 12:15 p.m.)
This has been confirmed as a house fire. No word on injuries although people were reportedly living at the home.
Nov. 15, 2016 – There ‘s a large garage fire underway at 3040 Newburg in the Town of Saukville along Highway 33 in neighboring Ozaukee County. The fire has since been upgraded to a house fire.
There are numerous departments on scene including Jackson, Boltonville and Fillmore. Also there’s been a call for more ambulances.
So far there’s no word what started the fire or whether there are injuries.
