Slinger, WI – Slinger High School graduate Addie Rahmlow has won a national scholastic award.
Rahmlow entered her senior Portfolio into the Scholastic Art and Writing Contest. She had won a Regional Gold Key for her work, but Scholastic announced she also won a National Gold Medal.

Out of hundreds of thousands of pieces submitted, Addie is 1 of only 8 percent of students who received National Medal honors and only 1 of 8 students to win a National Gold Medal for a senior Portfolio.
This recognition comes with publication through Scholastic and a $12,500 scholarship.
