Obit: Stanley N. Wagner, 84, of West Bend

Nov. 10, 2016 – West Bend, WI – Stanley N. Wagner, age 84 of West Bend, Wisconsin (formerly of Neosho and Hartford) passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, November 8, 2016.

Stanley was born on October 24, 1932 in Hartford, WI to Alfred and Margaret (nee Marks) Wagner.

He was united in marriage to Audrey L. Steger on October 18, 1952 at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Hartford.

He served his country in the United States Army as an MP during the European Theater. He was also an avid card player.

Stanley is survived by his three sons, Michael (Bonnie) of Newburg, Dale (Ann) of Hartford, and Brian (Joanne) of New Hampshire; his grandchildren, Elsa (Mike), Audra (Charlie), Kristy (Scott), Ashley (Andy), Tylor, Adrienne (David), April (Brian) and Lydia; his great-grandchildren: Taylor, Nathan, Emelia, Alaine, Samantha, Brianna, and Logan; siblings, Richard (Judy) Wagner of West Bend, Joyce Autio of Germantown, Mary Kay (Lee) Depies of Hartford, Marlene Muesch of West Bend and Karen (Ron) Roethel of Port Washington; and siblings-in-law, Roland Justman of Mayville, Shirley (Tom) Leichtle of West Bend, Kathleen Wagner of Hartford. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Audrey Wagner; parents; his parents-in-law, William and Esther (nee Block) Steger; brother, Alfred Wagner and sister Beatrice Justman; siblings-in-law, Robert (Bernice) Steger, Henry Muesch, and Jim Walsh.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Stanley will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 6 p.m. at St. Kilian Catholic Church, (264 W. State Street, Hartford) with Fr. David LaPlante officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Tuesday from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Inurnment in St. Kilian Catholic Cemetery. Shimon Funeral Home.
