Thanksgiving Day is coming soon and the tradition in our house is to collect items for the homeless veterans at King Veterans Center in Waupaca.
We accept used clothing, new socks and underwear, snacks, laundry soap, personal-hygiene items, books, games, etc.
Maybe even a written message of hope and thanks.
We will collect items no later than Nov. 25 as we are planning to make our delivery on the Nov. 26.
