West Bend, WI – While watering the plants outside this morning I found some soil pushed aside. There were tufts of fur lining the edge and then a blink… which gave away the camouflaged location of a pile of baby bunnies.
They are more than a couple days old.
After a quick bike ride into Dodge County the gang has relocated and stuffed themselves in a sun puddle under the dryer vent.
Haven’t seen the mom yet today. Maybe she’s holding down a fake nest in another yard.
Initially I thought there were 7… now it appears closer to 5.
