April 1, 2024 – Hustisford, WI – Robert M. Vinz, 89, of Hustisford, Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at his home.
Vinz was born on March 6, 1935, to his parents Robert and Lillian (nee Wagner) Vinz in Sullivan Wisconsin.
Vinz proudly served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany from 1959 to 1963.
He worked at Mercury Marine for several years as a machinist.
Vinz loved plants, flowers, and gardening, collecting, and fixing clocks, and listening to classical music. He also enjoyed traveling when he was younger, photography, learning about his genealogy, and spending time with his extended family.
Robert Vinz is survived by his sister, Janis Mantz, and many loved nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his siblings and their spouses, Marvin (Beverly) Vinz, Donald (Frances) Vinz, Loretta (John) Magyar, Edwin (Hilda) Vinz, Darlene Salas, Joyce (Harvey) Mueller, Carol (Edelhard) Neumann, Shirley (Walter) Eske, brother-in-law, Lyle Mantz, and other family.

Funeral services for Robert Vinz will be held Sunday, April 7, 2024, at New Life Church (3170 County Road K, Hartford, WI, 53027). Family will greet relatives and friends from 1 p.m. until the start of service at 3 p.m. Interment will take place on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Ashippun Lutheran Cemetery (Hoover Rd).
