March 21, 2024 – Washington County, WI – I’m honored to represent the people of the 59th Assembly District in Madison. And I’m equally proud to endorse Bill Brewer for Slinger School Board this April.
Empowering our children starts with supporting a parents-first member on the school board. Bill cares about the district’s students and parents and believes that parents should have a say in their child’s education.
Most people are surprised to learn that over a third of Slinger’s students are below grade level in English, math, or both. For most of these students, this means fewer career or education choices and a lower chance for success regardless of their career choice. Bill’s strategy is to pull together parents, teachers and administration to find out the root causes of this issue and take action to solve those root causes in his first term.
Bill is also aware of the destructive trends present in American education today. He’s testified twice in Madison to defend kids and families. Bill first testified supporting a ban on Critical Race Theory in Wisconsin’s public schools, making the clear case for removing destructive politics from K-12 schools. He spoke the second time to support criminal accountability for any K-12 teachers presenting legally obscene material to minors in school. Unfortunately, teachers are currently exempt from criminal prosecution for this. Bill stands for protecting kids from the harmful influences of the liberal educational establishment.
We need school board members like Bill to ensure our schools prioritize the values that matter most to families and create an environment where every student can thrive. He wants to break through the status quo that keeps school boards complacent concerning academic performance. So whether you vote absentee or on April 2nd, cast just one vote in the Slinger School Board election. Elect Bill Brewer to the board!
