Letter to the Editor | Vote the true conservatives | By Rick Gundrum

March 17, 2024 – Washington Co., WI – Tuesday, April 2 is Election Day. Before voting, do your homework. Do not rely on rumors. Here are the facts.

Letter to the

Incumbents Marietta Bailey, District 2 and Linda Gurath, District 5 are the true conservatives for two Washington County supervisor seats. Both have solid track records of fiscal responsibility and serving their constituents.

Their opponents Justice Madl and Mary Ann Rzeszutek claim to be conservatives, but Mary Ann is a liberal and ran against me as a Democrat in 2022. She moved to West Bend from New York and will bring liberal policies to local government. Justice has been on the West Bend City Council for six years and has proven to be a tax and spend alderman who has actually claimed residents do not mind paying more for taxes. We don’t need that kind of mindset on the Washington County Board.

If you reside in West Bend and are tired of higher taxes and bad streets, then vote for Bill Schmitt, Ward 7 and Viny Pheng, Ward 5. They are the true conservatives running for West Bend City Council. Too many empty promises about lowering taxes and fixing streets means it is time for a change.

There are false rumors circulating about Slinger School Board candidate Bill Brewer. He is not a radical liberal. He opposes CRT and has worked tirelessly to remove inappropriate books in Slinger schools. Bill is a member in good standing with the Washington County Republican Party and is supported and endorsed by former Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch.

It is with proud enthusiasm that I support the above to serve in their respective districts.

Representative Rick Gundrum,
State Assembly District 58
Slinger, WI 53086
