Letter to the Editor | Vote Nolan Jackett & Heather Barrie for Hartford Union High School Board | By Nolan Jackett

March 19, 2024 – Hartford, WI – April 2 is almost here, and it’s just as important as ever to elect great school board candidates.

Letter to the Editor school

Heather Barrie and I are two conservative candidates for the school board at Hartford Union High School teaming up for two open seats this spring.

Together, our campaign has hit over 2000 houses with flyers all over the district, attended forums, and have made great efforts to reach out to voters of the district.

Our priorities are simple:

  • Uphold parents’ rights

  • Promote trust, transparency, and accountability

  • Create strong connections with students, staff, and parents

  • Advocate for Tech Ed programs

  • Champion fiscal responsibility

I am an Eagle Scout, a graduate of HUHS, a graduate of Northeastern Wisconsin Technical College with a diploma in electrical, and currently employed in the electrical trade. Heather is a mother of three HUHS graduates, a member of the HUHS human growth and development committee, a poll worker in Erin, a Junior Achievement volunteer, and formerly a cub scout den leader.

Join us as we work to turn around Hartford’s struggling academic performance; create strong connections with students, staff, and parents; and serve the interest of all constituents.
