March 4, 2024 – Washington Co., Wi – Get out the rain gauge as spring storms are starting to roll through Washington County, WI early this year. There were some nice rumbles of thunder starting just after 6 p.m. followed by lightning and then a strong but brief rain system.
The National Weather Service predicted storms Monday evening. The rain will likely continue into the morning.

Good sleeping weather…
The National Weather Service is predicting a quarter to a half-inch of rain is possible. “Much needed,” according to Gus Witte from Witte’s Vegetable Market.
Gus even posted a sign of spring from his greenhouse as the onions are starting to pop. “Things are starting to get real,” he said.
