Nov. 1, 2016 – Kewaskum, WI – Kewaskum’s Kayla Bastian has set a personal record of 1,000 kills as a member of the Truman University volleyball team. The 5-11 Bastian scored her 1,000 kill this past Friday as her Truman Bulldogs beat St. Joseph’s.
Bastian is a 2012 graduate of Kewaskum High School where she was a three-sport athlete in volleyball, basketball and soccer … started all three, including four seasons in volleyball … named first-team all-conference twice and honorable mention all-area once. Helped lead her squad to a conference championship as a senior … named team MVP her senior year … was named all-conference in basketball twice … earned recognition on the National Honor Society … played club with Fond du Lac Fusion and took third in the JO Nationals – American division in 2011.
