Hartford, WI – Redeemer Lutheran Church, 255 W. Lincoln Ave., in Hartford, WI, collected hats, mittens and gloves this past fall and now has them out for those in need.
The items are tied to a fence that is with-in walking distance of Lincoln Elementary School, Hartford Union High School and Hartford Central Middle school.
The items are in waterproof bags tied to the fence with a banner telling people to take an item if they need it.
The blessing is that members of the community have also been adding items to the fence.
