Oct. 27, 2016 – West Bend, WI – West Bend Fire Department on scene at Regal Ware on Schmidt Road in West Bend following a call about smoke in the building. About 200 employees were evacuated as the fire call went out around 12:15 p.m.
The West Bend Fire Department said the fire was contained to the duct work in the ceiling. The building is currently being ventilated.
There were no injuries and employees were relocated to the lunchroom. The cause remains under investigation.
October is National Fire Prevention Month and Property Loss Management in Barton is a strong supporter of firefighters in Washington County.
