Over 900 customers without power in West Bend, WI including Samaritan Home

December 14, 2023 – West Bend, Wi – Over 900 neighbors in West Bend, Wi are without power including folks at the Samaritan Home.

The power went out around 5 p.m.  According to We Energies the area with outages is around Kettle View Drive near Kewaskum and near Schmidt Road and E. Washington Street.

UPDATE| Brendan Conway with We Energies said, “We have crews on scene working quickly and safely to restore power. We do not have a cause at this point, but we do have customer reports of a tree down on our power lines. We’ll share an update with you once we have it.”

UPDATE 2 | Power outage extends south sown Main Street past the Amity Apartments, on the west side of the street from Jumbos to the Paradise Pavilion and Kohls and then Paradis Drive south to Meijer.

We Energies trucks are in the parking lot at Paradise Pavilion.

UPDATE 3 | According to We Energies power was restored at 7 p.m.

A resident at the Samaritan Home said they were told power should be restored within an hour.

Calls have been placed to We Energies regarding the cause of the outage.

On a side note – there is power at Enchantment in the Park, feel free to spin through Regner Park and take in the festive Christmas lights.
