December 12, 2023 – West Bend, WI – Heaven was looking for a ball player, and Aaron was called up on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at the age of 34.
He was born in West Bend, the son of Jim and Connie (nee Hughes) Gaedtke. Aaron graduated from West Bend East High School, class of 2008; where he excelled in all sports, and had a love for them. He was an avid softball player, life of the party and always there to keep you motivated.
The north woods was a place Aaron found peace. Most of all he loved his nieces and nephews, they were his pride and joy.
Aaron is survived by his parents Jim and connie, sisters Brittany (Joe) Ross-Corbett, and Brooke Gaedtke; nieces and nephews Grace, Charlie, and Hazel Ross-Corbett, and Norah Gaedtke. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, many cousins, other relatives, and numerous friends. Aaron was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Orville Gaedtke and Ludell (David) Weiss, maternal grandparents Goria & Archie Hughes.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 14, from 4 p.m. until 6:15 p.m., with a 6:30 p.m. Memorial Celebration at Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend. Burial will be held at a later date at Washington County Memorial Park.
