Eunice was born May 16, 1944, in Cuba to the family of Otto and Elsie (Hedin) Paulik, was baptized at Prince of Peace Church, and was raised in Menomonee Falls, WI. Eunice attended Menomonee Falls High School class of 1963.

She married the love of her life, Dennis, on June 29, 1963. Eunice worked at Oster’s in her early years, and Hanson’s Piggly Wiggly in Slinger for over 20 years while raising her children. Eunice was very active, energetic, and mischievous throughout her adult life. She enjoyed 60 years of marriage with Dennis, which included traveling, gardening, long walks, square dancing, and spending time on Big Cedar Lake.

One of her favorite past times, she enjoyed maintaining her flowerbeds, and gardening. During retirement, Eunice and Dennis spent the winters in Apache Junction, Arizona.

Eunice joined Girl Scouts as a young girl and was a member for 55 years. As an adult, she served as a leader with her daughters. She joined an adult version called the Gal Scouts, and she and Dennis enjoyed many travels with the group. They continued having monthly lunch outings with the Gal Scouts as of recently. Eunice was a social butterfly, enjoying new adventures, and bringing joy to everyone she met. Eunice was very proud of her dolls, bears, and other collectibles. She was an avid reader, and most of all, enjoyed spending time with her family, and beloved husband.

As a wife, mother, and friend, Eunice was loving, caring, good-hearted, and always in a good mood. She offered encouragement, hope, laughter, and perseverance during difficult times. She always told her children to call anytime, even “all hours of the night”, and sometimes they did. Eunice prided herself in her cooking and baking and always offered up a meal to those in need, or to gather with her friends and family.

Eunice was a light that burned brightly and will be deeply missed by her husband, children, family, and friends. May her bright light and fun-loving spirit continue to shine in our hearts, and may she eternally rest in peace with our Lord in heaven.

Eunice is survived by her beloved husband Dennis Mueller, children; Carrie (Perry) Knudson, Denise (Jerome) Becker, Darren (Erin) Mueller, and Amber (Bill) Schellinger; grandchildren Brian, Elizabeth, Cody, Derek, Meg, Logan, Korben, Jameson, Grant, and Kai; great-grandchildren Jade, Laken, Eden, Brian Jr, Christopher, Abigail.

She is further survived by sister-in-law Luane (Tony) Schulta, sister-in-law Kathy Paulik, nieces, nephews, and friends. Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Julian Paulik, her in-laws Arnold and Anita Mueller, brother-in-law Rodger Mueller, sister-in-law Karen Mueller, and sister-in-law Carole Zehren.
