November 18, 2023 – Fond du Lac Co. – On Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 4:02 a.m., Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office deputies were requested to assist the Wisconsin State Patrol who were actively pursuing a vehicle northbound on Interstate 41 near Hwy 67 located in Dodge County.
The suspect vehicle exited onto Hwy 67 and traveled east into Fond du Lac County. The State Patrol ultimately terminated the pursuit and provided information to the Fond du Lac County Communications Center that the suspect vehicle was last seen traveling northbound on Cty K.
At 4:08 a.m. a Lieutenant with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office located the suspect vehicle on Cty K and attempted a traffic stop. The vehicle again engaged in a pursuit and turned westbound onto Church Road in the Township of Eden.
The driver entered a yard of a private residence on Church Rd., and circled the house several times before coming to a stop. The driver was taken into custody and has been charged with two counts of felony eluding, possession with intent to deliver THC, possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, and resisting arrest.
The pursuit involving the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office spanned a total of .8 miles.
The Wisconsin State Patrol and the city of Fond du Lac Fire / Rescue Emergency Medical Services (EMS) assisted the Sheriff’s Office in the pursuit.
