Arthur F. Prasch, age 89, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 17, 2016. He was born on July 28, 1927 in Milwaukee, WI to Michael and Ellen (nee Byrne) Prasch. Arthur attended Marquette high school, served in the US Army and later married Carol “Penny” (nee Penn) on October 13, 1951 in Milwaukee. He was the owner of Quality Rebuilders in Milwaukee. Arthur loved car racing and was a USAC official. He always had a car with big racing motors. He enjoyed the Green Bay Packers, dancing with his wife and especially spending time with his family. Arthur was a member of the American Legion.
Arthur is survived by his children Kerry (David Schroeder) Orcholl, Amy (Mark) Krueger, Tim (Debbie); grandchildren Daniel Mathiak, Rebecca (Chris) Duncan, David Rust, Michael and Joe Prasch, brother Robert Prasch and sister Bettie Weber. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Arthur is preceded in death by his loving wife Carol, his parents, daughter Beth Tate, grandson Andrew Rust, sisters Dolly Fabrey, Catherine Roe and Shirley Chitel.
A Memorial Service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095) with Pastor Jeff Hesse presiding. Visitation will be on Saturday, October 22 at the funeral home from 11:00 am until time of service (1:00 pm).
