October 23, 2023 – West Bend, WI – West Bend Police worked in cooperation with Germantown Police and the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department regarding a strong-armed robbery on University Drive.

West Bend Police responded to University Drive at 10:45 p.m. on October 18, 2023, for the report a 40-year-old male resident was physically assaulted and had property taken from him by a 35-year-old man and a 40-year-old man.

The investigation found the 35-year-old man was a former friend of the University Drive resident and came to the home to confront him and the altercation occurred. The two men were charged by the District Attorney with battery, disorderly conduct and bail jumping.
The Germantown Police Department assisted West Bend Police by locating the 35-year-old man in their community. Germantown also arrested the man for OWI.
On October 22, 2023, the Fond Du Lac County Sheriff’s Department observed the 40-year-old man in a campground within their jurisdiction, but he fled on foot, and they were unable to locate him.
