West Bend West takes 3 over WBE | By Kylee Altendorf

October 3, 2023 – West Bend, WI – The West Bend West volleyball team swept West Bend East to get back on their winning streak.

 

After a battle in the first set, the Spartans came out stronger to seal the win and the match 25-19, 25-17, 25-12.

The win was achieved through a combined team effort by players who put their best effort on the court.

Though this was the case, the Spartans showed resilience and determination on and off the court.

Leading the way was Abby Stockhausen, Emmalee Heniadis and Breleigh Ustruck with  7 kills each, Breleigh Ustruck had 4 ace serves and Lindsay Sandleback had 3 ace serves and 12 digs, Emy Miller added 28 digs and Maddie Able had 31 assists.
West Bend West varsity is now 5 – 2 in the North Shore Conference.
The team will be travel to take on the undefeated Slinger Owls on Thursday, October 5 at 7 p.m.
