October 2, 2023 – Cedarburg, Wi – During the West Bend West JV2 match against the Cedarburg Bulldogs, the bench was loud and supportive. Cedarburg was a tough battle WBW JV2 eventually lost, 3-0.
West Bend West had incredible digs, and amazing sets from Calli Cragun and Brooklyn Cureton. Our team put out an amazing effort on the court, and though it wasn’t our best or most lively games, we still played a good match.
West Bend West, in the first set attempted 18 serves, two missed serves, five digs, two tips, four touches, nine dropped balls, and nine shanks.
The final score of that set saw WBW fall 25-18. In the second set WBW had 18 attempted serves, one ace, one missed serve, one assist, one kill, three digs, two tips, two touches, six dropped balls, and another nine shanked balls. The final score for that set saw Cedarburg score a 25-13 victory.
For the third set WBW attempted 16 serves, two missed serves, one assist, one kill, two digs, two bump kills, one block, two touches, eight dropped balls, and eight shanked balls.
The final score in that set was 25-15. WBW JV2 next match will be vs. WB East on Tuesday, October 3 with a start time of 5:30 p.m.
