July 23, 2023 – Jackson, WI – Message from the Chief:
It’s our tradition at the JPD to publicly recognize each of our staff members on milestone anniversaries. Fortunately for me, my 5-year anniversary serving the Village of Jackson has fallen on a Sunday so I was able to avoid the usual anniversary shenanigans from our officers (mannequins in my office, fake snakes on my desk, “Honk, it’s the Chief’s Anniversary” signage along Main Street). Every day is an adventure at Jackson PD!
On a more serious note, it’s been a true honor to serve as Police Chief in Jackson for the past five years. We have a talented, dedicated group of officers and support staff that truly care about our growing community. Speaking of community, the immense support we’ve received from our residents, elected officials, and fellow Village employees has been humbling. I’m pleased to report that as of today, we have raised over half of the money needed to re-start our K9 Unit in just the past five weeks! Hopefully we will have a 4-legged officer on our staff soon!
It is a pleasure to serve this community, and I look forward to all of the exciting things on the horizon for the Village of Jackson.
