July 16, 2023 – West Bend, WI – Some rumbles of thunder as a storm system rolls through West Bend and Kewaskum late Sunday night. system slips through the northern part of Washington County.
Neighbors could feel temperatures drop and the winds pick up as the storms moved through around 9:30 p.m. The National Weather Service said there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11 p.m.
Later this week we could see more rain by Wednesday afternoon.

The thunderstorm that went by Germantown was brief and left only 1/8 inch of rain in my rain gauge. We need a day long soaker soon to help the farmers and green up our lawns.
