West Bend, WI – Holy Angels Catholic School, 230 N. Eighth Ave., West Bend, WI, is shining a spotlight on its 2023/2024 staff. Mrs. Walter re-joined the Holy Angels staff this year to teach the 4K class, and the staff confidently says that she is everything you want your kindergarten teacher to be.

“I have had the privilege of teaching for the past 19 years, in various grade levels PreK-6th. I graduated from Cardinal Stritch University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, and I also have a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University,” said Walter.
“I am married, with four children of my own–my two girls attend West Bend East High School, and my two boys are in 7th and 3rd grade at Holy Angels School. My husband and I are parish members at Holy Angels, and in my free time, I enjoy gardening, decorating, and eating out.
“I believe in a child-centered focus with a strong commitment to keeping learning purposeful and fun. I strive to help my students reach their highest potential while nurturing their own life-long love of learning. Knowing that early childhood education is a foundational piece of the developmental journey, I strive to build partnerships with families to establish a successful cornerstone “first school experience” for my students,” Walter said.
