“I have had the privilege of teaching for the past 19 years, in various grade levels PreK-6th. I graduated from Cardinal Stritch University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, and I also have a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University,” said Walter.

“I am married, with four children of my own–my two girls attend West Bend East High School, and my two boys are in 7th and 3rd grade at Holy Angels School. My husband and I are parish members at Holy Angels, and in my free time, I enjoy gardening, decorating, and eating out.

“I believe in a child-centered focus with a strong commitment to keeping learning purposeful and fun. I strive to help my students reach their highest potential while nurturing their own life-long love of learning. Knowing that early childhood education is a foundational piece of the developmental journey, I strive to build partnerships with families to establish a successful cornerstone “first school experience” for my students,” Walter said.

Here is what Walter states she loves about Holy Angels for both her family and her students:

–her children are being educated as a whole people–mind, body, and soul
–the feeling that you’re part of a loving, caring, and supportive family
–everyone shares the same common goals and values for their children
–the emphasis on Gospel values and translating them into service to others
