May 20, 2023 – Dodge Co., WI –On May 20, 2023 at 2:25 pm, Dodge County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash on Jersey Road near Breezy Point Road in the Township of Trenton, Dodge County, WI.
Initial investigation shows a farm tractor pulling a forage wagon, operated by a 38-year-old male from Waupun, was southbound on Jersey Road when it began to turn left into a farm driveway. A southbound motorcycle, driven by a 42-year-old male from Markesan, was attempting to pass the farm equipment when it collided with the forage wagon.
The motorcycle operator suffered serious life threatening injuries and was transported to UW-Hospital in Madison by the Flight for Life helicopter. The motorcycle operator was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The operator of the farm tractor was not injured.
Assisting at the scene were Beaver Dam Fire Department, Beaver Dam Paramedics, Flight for Life, and DCERT.
The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team andnames are being withheld pending family notification.
