Washington Co., WI – The 72nd annual National Day of Prayer (NDOP) event in Washington County is Thursday, May 4, 2023. Join us as we gather to pray for God‘s grace and mercy revealed in our city, state and nation. The theme this year is “Pray Fervently in Righteousness and Avail Much” and refers to the Bible verse from James 5:16b “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” (KJV)
The NDOP, as designated by our government, belongs to all Americans. People of all faiths and backgrounds centered on the Lord Jesus Christ are invited to come together in prayer and worship to seek God’s guidance for our leaders, our nation and God’s grace. Passionate heartfelt prayer releases tremendous power; even more so when the prayer is in unity.
