Following up with a couple straggling posts about the Korean War veterans from Washington County and their return visit to South Korea. The experience at the Wall of Remembrance was followed by a tour of the War Memorial of Korea. Former soldiers Nick Habersetzer and Norbert Carter found copies of the weapons they were issued.
They also vividly recalled photos of what the villages used to look like and the people and then we stumbled upon this display of when Marilyn Monroe and Bob Hope would visit the troops.
