Mrs. Diana Searing, of County Road Y in Newburg, passed away at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton on Friday evening, September 23, 2016. She was 80 years old. Diana was born in Milwaukee on November 27, 1935, daughter of Antonio and Martha Seemeyer Psaroudakis. She attended local schools before continuing her schooling to become a licensed practical nurse, specializing in geriatric work. She worked for different nursing homes in the Milwaukee area before retiring in 1996 from Adobe Nursing Home due to her health.
Diana was united in marriage with Jeffrey Searing in Milwaukee on July 5, 1991. The couple lived in Mayville, Lomira, Leroy and Westfield before settling in Newburg in 2005.
Mrs. Searing enjoyed fishing, and loved to fish for bluegill and bass from her pontoon boat. She also enjoyed knitting, watching the Chicago Cubs and the Green Bay Packers. One of her favorite activities was to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Diana is survived by her husband, Jeff, and her children: Desiree (Peter) Kossow of Oak Creek, Anthony Farley of Muskego and Darcel (Rick Wysocki) Farley of Wausau. She is further survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, other family and friends. Mrs. Searing is preceded in death by her daughter Dawn, her parents and 3 brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 6 pm on Wednesday, September 28, at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., in Port Washington. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday at the Funeral Home from 4-6 pm.
Diana will be laid to rest at Union Cemetery in Waubeka.
