On Sept. 22 at 3:52 p.m., the Dodge County Sheriff’s responded to a motor vehicle crash on County Highway AY near County Highway Y, in the Township of Theresa, Dodge County.
Preliminary investigation shows one vehicle was traveling north bound on County Highway AY. The other vehicle was traveling south bound on County Highway AY, when the vehicles collided.
The driver (lone occupant) of the north bound vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dodge County Medical Examiner. The driver (lone occupant) of the south bound vehicle suffered no injuries and refused EMS.
Identification of those involved is being withheld until Monday, Sept. 26, 2016.
Assisting at the scene was: Mayville Police Department, Theresa Fire Department, Kekoskee First Responders, Theresa EMS, Flight for Life, DECERT, Dodge County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.
