Hartford, WI – The annual outdoor festival Iced on Main, celebrating winter and highlighting businesses in downtown Hartford is today, February 18, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
One of the goals of the event is to introduce residents and visitors to Hartford businesses and encourage them to think of downtown as a destination for shopping and tourism, said Greg Rettler, The Mill’s marketing volunteer.
Rettler says planning for the 2023 Iced on Main event started in November. This year, 18 pre-carved ice sculptures are expected in downtown Hartford and two live ice carving displays are set between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
There will also be a scavenger hunt among downtown businesses and a hot chocolate bar.
Ice sculptures will remain in place after the event and will be lit at night.
