21st Century Classrooms Update No. 12: Most of the work has been completed and classrooms will be ready for use in the coming days. We have some low cabinets (approx. 30Hx30Dx48W) and bookcases available. If interested, contact the school office.
Mark your calendar for the annual Soles from Catholic Education Walk on October 15. The event raises funds to provide tuition assistance at the parish level. At this time, participants can register for the Holy Angels team online. If you were not able to pick up your Family Packet, they will be available at the school office during the week. Also, the signup for Playground Supervisors will be available in the office hallway.
The Holy Angels Open House is Sunday, August 28, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Classes begin on Tuesday, August 30.
There will be a short informational meeting for parents who are new to Holy Angels School on Wednesday, at 6 p.m., in the Walnut Room. It will last about an hour.
The School Committee will meet on Wednesday, at 7 p.m, in the Science Room. The agenda will include: 21st Century Classroom update; staffing update; committee goals, and financial report.
This week, the faculty will be involved with beginning of the year inservice and planning on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday, teachers from area Catholic schools will gather at Holy Angels for the Sustaining the Mission sessions.
