West Bend, WI man answers door with firearm | By West Bend Police Department

May 16, 2022 – West Bend, WI – On May 15, 2022, at 5:33 p.m., an individual contacted the West Bend Police Department to report he had knocked on the front door of a residence in the 100 block of W. Paradise Drive in West Bend and the adult male that answered the door pointed a firearm at him.

Officers responded to the residence and made phone contact with the 32-year-old male resident inside.

The man agreed to exit his residence to meet with police and he was safely taken into custody.

The firearm believed to have been used in this incident was recovered. The resident taken into custody was placed in the Washington County Jail and the incident remains under investigation.

  1. With the Government allowing millions of illegals into the country unvetted, this will probably be the wise thing to do in a few short years.
    The Government has chosen NOT to do their job, so it’s only ‘prudent’ to take precautions.

  2. The gentleman has a constitutional right (second amendment) to keep and bear arms. He wasn’t doing anything wrong but answering his front door. I feel the police broke the law by arresting him.

  3. You can’t point a gun at someone unless your life is threatened…proper thing to do is put in your belly belt line so they can see

  4. I know who this is and he never pointed the gun, just a lying coward neighbor that should be charge for a falsified report.

  5. We aren’t getting the full story, not even the bottom graduate of the academy would arrest someone on the word of someone else, unless he was purely ignorant or never educated in the constitution of the United States! Fred
