April 29, 2022 – Washington Co., WI – Washington County Register of Probate, Sarah Adjemian, officially launched a bid today to become Clerk of Circuit Court for Washington County, replacing retiring Clerk of Circuit Court, Theresa Russell.
The Clerk of Circuit Court office facilitates records maintenance of all documents filed with
the courts, keeps a record of court proceedings, schedules court hearings, and collects
various fees, fines and forfeitures ordered by the court or specified by statute. The office is
also responsible for jury selection service.
Adjemian has lived in Washington County for 22 years, and currently resides in Hartford
with her husband Rob and their two children. She has a BS in Justice and Public Policy
and an MBA from Concordia University.
Adjemian has worked in the legal field for ten years, and was appointed to Washington
County Register in Probate In 2017 by then Judge Andrew Gonring.
“I have enjoyed implementing efficiencies in the probate department in my time
as Register in Probate, and if elected, would be honored to further serve Washington
County in the role of Clerk of Circuit Court,” said Adjemain.
The election is November 8, 2022 and the term is four years.
