High winds blamed for power outages across Washington County, WI

April 14, 2022 – Washington Co., WI – The National Weather Service issued a high-wind advisory for Washington and the surrounding counties until 7 p.m. Thursday evening.

We Energies is reporting a number of power outages in the area. Washington County has 1,869 outages as of 2:22 p.m. Neighboring Waukesha County has the most power outs at 2,547. The Village of Germantown has the most outages at 515 in Washington County.

Crews from We Energies are on scene repairing the affected lines. Power is expected to be restored before nightfall.
