January 24, 2022 – Slinger, WI – My name is Joe Havey and I have been a member of the Slinger School Board since September 2013 and I am running for re-election on April 5.
I have been married to Joan for 31 years and we have been proud Slinger residents for the past 21 years. Together we raised two successful children who both graduated from the Slinger School District. In addition to my eight years on the Slinger School Board we are both involved in volunteering in the school district, the community and Northbrook church.
I joined the Board in 2013 to ensure our community values were supported and would continue to be supported, we would maintain a strong, conservative-leaning environment to match the Slinger community and the pressures from outside political and social biases would be kept out – I am proud to say this is exactly what myself and my fellow board members have accomplished.
In addition, since becoming a board member, I have worked on many projects leading to one of the best districts in Wisconsin. A few of my accomplishments are as follows:
The truth about Slinger is, we have a great community. Our community, school district and school board work very closely together today and have throughout the history of Slinger. Help keep Slinger strong by maintaining the current school board because this current board has put in the work to keep Slinger safe from outside bias; political and social, implemented safety protocol to protect from physical threats and will continue to fight for what is best for the Slinger community, students and staff because at Slinger we are a family
I am looking forward to continuing to serve the Slinger School District and our Slinger family. I ask for your vote to enable me to continue this very important job.
Please vote Joe Havey on April 5.
Thank you
Joe Havey
